Some of my most exiting work is with high school students, of whom I have tutored many. I am trained in secondary education, and I am trained in the ISBE Learning Standards for each grade level, which is used by teachers to compose their classroom material. I can tell your son or daughter what their teachers will expect. By looking at classroom materials and by asking questions I can determine each teacher’s individual style and inform your student on how to best to accommodate that in his or her work. Additionally, by learning your child’s aspirations, I can advise him or her on what knowledge is needed from the class being tutored to prepare for future mathematics classes, and what to expect as he or she goes on to college.

When I am working with your high school student, you will see an improvement in academic performance and a positive change in confidence and attitude. Your child will be proud of his or her final score, and go forth with an enthusiasm for future mathematics endeavors.
